Billy Bishop

Founder / CEO

Billy Bishop has always had a passion for being an electrician. He learned the electrical trade from his dad, who was also a licensed electrician. Throughout his electrical career, he has worked on everything from single-family homes and commercial buildings to industrial complexes, including phosphate mines and power plants. Billy opened Top Flight Electric in 2017 with the mission to provide customers with “First Class” electrical services. Everyone employed by the company is someone you will feel comfortable welcoming into your home. Billy is a licensed electrical contractor (LIC# EC13005699) whose life experiences have literally taken him around the world as a corporate jet pilot. He has over 8,500 flight hours and is licensed as an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP), with ratings to fly four different jet aircraft and two turbo-props. Billy spent three years in Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and held a Secret Clearance with the Department of Defense (DoD). He was also a Professor of Aviation for the Aerospace Department at Polk State College for seven years. Billy has called Polk County home for over 30 years. He lives with his wife, Jessika, and their son, Rene, in Winter Haven, Florida, near their three daughters’ families, including five grandchildren.

I have three beautiful children and a husband of 17 years. We live in Winter Haven, Florida. After being a stay-at-home mom, I decided to join the workforce. I take pride in managing the office for my dad Billy’s business. I enjoy helping people and making them smile. I love swimming and being outdoors with my kids.

With 16 years of experience as an electrician, I take pride in providing dependable, high-quality service while always putting my customers first. I proudly live in the city of Davenport, where I’ve built strong relationships through honesty, hard work, and professional service. Outside of work, I’m a dedicated family man who values spending time with my loved ones and supporting my local community.

I’m a loving mother of 4 energetic children and a wife of my hardworking husband of 12 years. I have been providing customer service satisfaction for over 15 years. I have a dream of opening my own daycare facility one day in Lake Wales, FL!

Jonathan Unzueta Rojas

I have been performing electrical work for over a decade. I attended school in Maryland where I picked up the electrical trade. During this time from hands on experience, there is nothing electrical too small or large I have not seen or fixed. I am married to my beautiful wife and have 3 wonderful children. My passion is providing for my family.

I’m a United States Marine and have been an electrician for seven years in the Lake Wales area. I take pride in my work, and my passion is taking care of my amazing family.

Charles Nickels

Journeyman Electrician

I’ve lived in Winter Haven, Florida my whole life. I started at Top Flight Electric as an apprentice two years ago, and now I am a licensed journeyman electrician working toward becoming a licensed master electrician.

I am an electrical apprentice in Auburndale. I attended Traviss Technical College in Lakeland, Florida to study electrical work. In a couple of months, I will move up to electrical technician. I want to save money and go back to college to earn my electrical engineering degree.

I am an electrician in Lakeland, Florida, where I was born and raised. I went to trade school at Florida Technical University. I enjoy the outdoors and spending quality time with my family most of all. I plan on getting my master electrician license and working in the electrical field until the day I can’t.

I’ve been an electrician for 20 years. I’ve lived in Polk County for 25 years and currently live in Bartow, Florida. My wife and I have five kids and nine grandkids between us who keep us busy. I enjoy hunting, fishing, helping others, and church.

I was born and raised in Avon Park, Florida, and have one year of hands-on electrical experience in residential and light commercial work. I am reliable, hardworking, and always looking to grow as an electrician. Outside of work, I enjoy fishing and being outdoors.

Marcos Bordas Martinez

My name is Marcos Bordas, and I am an electrician based in Winter Haven, Florida. Originally from Cuba, I earned an associate degree in Electrotechnical Systems and Automation in Spain and have over six years of experience in the electrical trade across Spain and the United States. I am committed to delivering high-quality work and continuously growing in my profession. In my free time, I enjoy watching soccer and going to the gym. My goal is to obtain my master electrician license and start my own electrical company.
